MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROFILGRUPPEN

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and driven maintenance engineer with supervisory responsibility for our extrusion area. In this new role, you will work strategically to implement and evaluate new technologies and maintenance systems. You will also coordinate maintenance efforts and develop technical solutions that improve daily operations and prevent potential future problems.

By combining strategic work with operational engagement, you ensure an effective and sustainable operation that is constantly evolving. As a maintenance engineer, you will analyze and prioritize corrective maintenance and reinvestment needs in our facilities.

Together with the maintenance manager, you will also be responsible for annual planning, budgeting, and follow-up of preventive maintenance for our machines. The role includes supervisory responsibility for the maintenance mechanics belonging to the maintenance department. This position reports to the maintenance manager in the extrusion area. You can expect a calm and methodical manager and a leadership style characterized by freedom under responsibility.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to work strategically but also operationally when needed
• Technical education at the university level or equivalent work experience
• Good leadership skills; experience in project and personnel management is a plus
• Goal- and results-oriented
• Ability to work cross-functionally

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in maintenance and good knowledge in areas such as hydraulics, mechanics, spare parts management, maintenance processes, and maintenance systems. You are the right person for the role if you are driven and results-focused and understand the importance of achieving set goals together with your colleagues in collaboration with others in the organization.

Furthermore, you are good at prioritizing, have an analytical mindset, and are flexible and communicative in your working style. We expect you to have good IT skills.
